Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Applied Management and Decision Sciences in Finance, Luis Luarca started Allectus LLC in 2002 having completed his MBA in Finance and Marketing.  After completing a great career in corporate America working for the U.S. subsidiary of the world’s largest food company, Mr. Luarca decided to venture into the world of consulting.  Years later, via research completed at Wharton and a few client case studies, Mr. Luarca published his first book titled, “Business Management For Business Owners; How to Manage Your Small or Mid Sized Business”. 

Today, Mr. Luarca continues to develop better methodologies to support current and future clients in all aspects of business that add quantifiable value to each client’s bottom line.  The one thing that separates Allectus LLC from all consulting companies is that Allectus LLC does not operate as other consulting companies do.  Mr. Luarca continues to gain the knowledge and understanding of his competitors so as to never become like his competitors.  He believes this to be his advantage. 

In his spare time Mr. Luarca teaches graduate level accounting, finance and marketing courses at the Southern California Campus of University of Phoenix. He also finds time to conduct seminars for the City of Los Angeles via The Los Angeles Business Assistance Program (LABAP), Valley Econminc Development Center, Barrio Planners Inc., and is a business counselor for The San Gabriel Valley Small Business Development Center via Mount San Antonio College.
